About Our Preschool

An inquiry-based, relationship-driven approach.

At Lyrebird, we embrace an inquiry-based learning philosophy, influenced by the Reggio Emilia approach. We believe every child is strong, creative and resourceful — and our role is to walk alongside them as they make sense of the world.

A place of Curiosity, Creativity & Collaboration

At Lyrebird, these values are lived out in every part of the preschool — in our relationships, our spaces, our practices, and our daily rhythm with children.

Curiosity

We believe that curiosity is the starting point for all meaningful learning. Children are explorers, and we create opportunities that encourage them to question, investigate and wonder.

Creativity

Every child is an artist, inventor and storyteller. Through open-ended materials and expressive experiences, we foster creativity in all its forms — both indoors and outdoors.

Collaboration

Learning is a shared journey. We build a strong sense of community where children, educators and families feel a sense of belonging and mutual respect.

About Our Programs

Lyrebird Preschool offers programs for children aged 3–5 years, with options for 2 or 3 days per week depending on your child’s age and needs.
